Praveen founded Mobity in 2002.

 

Under his leadership, Mobity has helped launch, grow, and optimize tens of High-Tech, Healthcare, New-Media, and Service businesses through its Management Consulting, Technology Integration, Business Incubation, and Operations Improvement services.

 

Prior to Mobity, Praveen held senior management positions with Quovera, KPMG, Iacocca Institute (Lehigh) and Royal Philips Electronics.

In his 20-year proven career, Praveen has

  1. Advised CxO’s & xVP’s of 75+ large (fortune-global-500) and SMB clients
  2. Sold, managed, and successfully delivered 100+ client engagements
  3. Founded + P&L managed 25+ staff big-4 as well as boutique SI practices
  4. Invested-in and nurtured six+ startups from idea to profit, and
  5. Raised $27 million venture capital, prepared for IPO, and conducted both buy- and sell- side M&A due diligence

His delighted clients include Apple, Best Buy, Cisco, Commonwealth of PA, Deutsche Telekom, Exide, Frito Lay, Fujitsu, HP, Hexcel, i2, IBM, Johnson & Johnson (Ethicon), Kimberley Clark, Kraft Foods, LG, Mack Truck (Volvo), McDermott, Nortel, NXP Semi, On Semi, Oracle, Smurfit-Stone, Spigit, ST Micro, Sun Micro, Toyota, Trimble, , US Dept. of Defense,  US Navy, and Zoran plus tens of SMB’s and startups.

Praveen is an active volunteer member of the Cleantech Advisory Board as well as the LifeSciences & Health IT Advisory Board for The Indus Entrepreneurs Group (TiE). He is an aspiring real estate investor. He is passionate about educating children in positive psychology, entrepreneurship, and financial intelligence. He also hopes to master, and teach individuals as well as businesses, the art and the science of happiness, productivity, creativity, and innovation to realize sustainable growth.

Praveen holds a M.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lehigh University (PA, USA) and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune (India).  He lives with his wife, Pallavi, and son, Mohnish in the Silicon Valley (CA, USA).
