Since 2002, Mobity has advised and optimized Fortune-Global as well as small-midsize businesses, and incubated early stage ventures, in the Healthcare, Technology, Software, and Services verticals worldwide.

In addition to providing strategy, business, technology integration, and operations improvement consulting to Mobity clients, Praveen also mentors select Mobity portfolio ventures by fulfilling board or executive roles with them from their incorporation through a liquidity event.

Currently, in this capacity, Praveen serves as the SVP of Commercialization for venture-funded HealthPals [machine learning and medical guidelines based clinical decision support for precision prevention at the point of care, precision public health, and personal wellness], and the Chairman and acting President of seed-funded Clovi [software for data driven wellness / evidence based engagement]. In addition, he is an Advisor to Arin technologies (location awareness for the Internet of Things), Care 52 (algorithms to find and book the best physician), and Doctella (Digital Health Studio for Providers to create zero-coding CareKit apps and CarePrograms).

Praveen’s prior roles with recent portfolio companies include the Cofounder CEO of FollowThatPatient (Cloud-CRM for Elective Care / Concierge / Cash-Pay Medicine, acquisition exit), Turnaround CEO of Docsvox (Patient / Physician Experience and Engagement, acquisition exit), and the Chairman of AppMedicine (Telehealth, Remote Monitoring, and Chronic Care Management platform).

Before Mobity, Praveen helped build a $50+ million revenue cloud services firm Quovera, and a $10+ million Big-4 systems integration practice for KPMG. He also managed a 40+ staff Industrial and Mechanical Engineering consulting not-for-profit center at the Lehigh University, and was responsible for the Quality and Vendor Management of contract manufactured consumer electronics systems at Philips India.

For 25+ years, senior executives at Fortune-Global companies across a broad range of industries, from semiconductor chips to potato chips, have relied on Praveen as their trusted advisor to monetize their strategic opportunities and solve systemic problems. He serves on Claremont McKenna College’s Parent Network Board, and has previously co-chaired TiE (an organization that promotes entrepreneurship globally) Silicon Valley’s Life Science SIG events, helped organize TiECon conferences, and participated in ABL’s Healthcare CxO roundtables.

Praveen holds M.S. in Systems Engineering from Lehigh University (PA, USA) and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune (India). He lives in Mountain View, CA with his wife. Their son is a sophomore at the Claremont McKenna College.
